Opportunities for Black talent were scarce when Ricardo Khan and Lee Kenneth Richardson co-founded Crossroads Theatre in New Jersey in 1978. They aimed to prove that Black Theatre is for all audiences, not just Black communities. Today, Crossroads continues to spark cross-cultural and diasporic conversations by delivering authentic, creative, and purposeful stories.
